Broadbrain!

I got broadband today, woohoo! It's changed my life, I mean I downloaded a forty megabyte file in about three minutes, it's amazing. I'm so happy. It's the bomb, it's late I'm tired and I'm rambling, but I don't care. I got broadband!

One more day, and it begins, I'm heading to LA on Sunday and the whole wedding thing begins.

Wacko Jacko

I'm watching the E! True Hollywood Story of Michael Jackson. Bizare, he reminds of that guy who thinks he's Peter Pan.

Don’t You Hate It When…

... You get ready to type, but instead of having your fingers over the home keys, they're over to the right or left one key. So "Images" comes out "oo,shrd". That's just hilarious.

Try Before You Buy!

I bought I black dress shirt the other day at Mervyn's for $10. I was so stoked! Unfortunately, I forgot I have monster-arms. The sleeves are too short.

I just tried the shirt on for the first time and noticed the sleeves are incredibly short, no big deal really. I guess I now own a fancy black everyday shirt. And boy is there a lot of starch in this shirt, it's like I'm wearing a cardboard suit.

I'm really grasping at straws to write about things, I mean does anyone really wanna know about my shitty shirt? No. But, I don't have anything to write about, and being that I like my website, I decided I needed something to write about. Just there's been so much going on with the wedding that there's really nothing interesting happening to write about.

I guess I'm gonna take my Powerbook during the wedding and post things during the wedding, should be cool. Might even hook up the webcam, should be cool huh?

If You Try The Best You Can

I just got the new Radiohead album last night, so far so good. It's kind of like a cross between Amnesiac and OK Computer.

My favorite track at the moment is There There. Every one needs a little more Radiohead in their lives.

In other happenings, getting married in 15 days. Cool! I'm getting quite excited. It's something that I've been anticipating for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier.

It’s Getting Hot In Here! (But Keep Your Clothes On)

It's so hot in this town, today isn't so bad, only 96F. Yesterday was around 102F. God bless this little hell hole/valley that we live in.

I wish I lived in a place where it's nice and fresh all year. I talked to Miller yesterday and it was 58F in San Francisco. That's beautiful.

Radiohead and Ghosts.

I don't know about you, but I absolutely adore Radiohead. They deserved every bit of critical praise they got for OK Computer.

I'm listening to it now and I forgot how amazing it is. I bought the album when it came out and listened to it once or twice and forgot about it. When I got my iPod, and was converting all my cd's to mp3's, I re-discovered Radiohead. Listening to these songs takes me back in time.

Paranoid Android reminds me of cracking up with Mitch while watching the video. Karma Police reminds me of the time we all went to Bridgette's house the day after Halloween, sitting in somebodys car with Mutsy and Michael Jp's, drinking vodka straight out of the bottle getting drunk and talking about music, girls and life.

Oh and we saw a ghost that night too. Mutsy, Michael and I were coming back from the gas station down the street from Bridgette's house. As we were walking back, it was dark and we were semi-drunk, but, there standing in front of the drivers side window was a tall black shadowy figure. We all stoped at the same time, frozen like deer caught in headlights. And said to eachother "Did you see that?!" We were so petrified that we didn't know if we should run away, run back to the house or stay still.

We ran.

Like scared woman, I don't think we ever ran so fast in our lives. We ran into the kitchen and stood there, looking at each other, knowing that the three of us had seen something other-worldly. We stood there for about three minutes, panting and shaking. Until I started laughing. That broke the tension and we started talking about what we had just witnessed.

We had all seen the same tall, dark shadowy figure in front of the car. The best way to describe it would be the fisherman from "I Know What You Did Last Summer" trying to jimmy the lock of the car. The thing that made it so bizare was that we saw it, looked at each other, showing it self to us just long enough to make us think there something else out there in this world, then it was gone.

Poof.

All New Adult Swim Review

After watching Adult Swim this evening, I decided I'd write a review of The Cartoon Networks' Adult Swim.

Home Movies -- "Politics" - Repeat

Brendon runs for school office and McGuirk becomes a stand-up comedian.

Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law -- "Deadomutt: Part 2"

This weeks Birdman is the conclusion to last weeks episode. While it started off with potential, it lost its steam during the whole 'Oz' prison segment. Some chuckle moments, nothing to write about (whoops...).

Aqua Teen Hunger Force -- "Super Hero"

Not as funny as last weeks episode. But, an over all good episode. What makes this episode shine is Shake's non-stop rambling. The entire episode he goes on and one about how great "The Drizzle" is. Sadly, no Carl in this episode.

Sealab 2021 -- "Vacation"

On first viewing I laughed hystericaly, on second viewing all I could do was think to myself that they've run out of ideas. Watch it if you're bored.

Space Ghost: Coast to Coast -- "Terminal"

The shining light of Adult Swim, Space Ghost. Space Ghost is going to die, or is he? From the very first image of the cast sitting in the cafeteria, to the bizare folk song, to the very end, perfect in every way. Mark Wiener and Dr. Drew were the guests.

Well, I'm never doing this again.
