I've known Mitch for years. A million in fact. I've grown up with the kid. And one thing I've always admired about him is one good manner he has.

Waiting for everyone elses food to come before he eats his.

He has the ability to sit, and wait, even if his food is right there in front of him. He will sit there, ignoring his plate mere inches from his face, acting as if he's giving he's club sandwich the silent treatment. Waiting patiently for the rest of his partys food to arrive. It takes will power to acomplish something like that.

Me on the other hand, I can barely wait to get it in my mouth. Like a crack addict who hasn't had a fix in weeks. I don't care if you haven't eaten in a month, my chicken fried steak is going in my mouth and out my butt with or with out you.

Yuck…

I just burped... It was a micro throw up burp. That makes me mad. A fly came in the house when I got the mail. That makes me made, too!

They just got finished calling jurors for the first trial. I didn't get called.

If I don't get called , I only have to stay until 4 P.M. Which is cool, 'cuz I'll be dismissed from jury duty for one year. However, if I do get called I have to stay until 5 P.M. and a trial could last 1-5 days.

But, deep down. I want to get picked, it's kinda like the crippled guy getting picked for baseball over me (Yeah, I suck that bad.)

I'm sitting in whats called 'a juror pool'. Yup, thats right. I've been summoned for jury duty. It's a very long and boring ordeal.

First, you show up at an insanely early time. 8:15 A.M. Where they make you wait for a... gotta go

Mobile Linux

Right now I'm trying to install Suse Linux 9 on my Thinkpad X31. Everything is going smooth so far, but I'm not that far. I keep getting bad FTP responses when I punch in the remote installation directory. I think I must have put the wrong directory or something. I'll keep posting as things progress.

Linux Update #1

Stupid me. I forgot you have to add a lot more to the ftp directory location... stupid.

curb your wireless

As I'm writing this, I'm sitting in my mom's Volvo on our way to Chili's. What's even better is that I'm posting this from my brand new PalmOne Treo 600. This is just way cool.

It sort of feels like discovering cell phones for the first time. That weird feeling of being free from wires, but at the same time more trapped by another way of communication.
